Design system for a energy client

A design system engagement delivered over 8 weeks: discovery, direction, system and rollout.

The brief asked for clarity where the previous identity had accumulated exceptions. We began with an audit of every touchpoint and reduced the system to the components that carried meaning.

Delivery ran in three sprints with a working review each week. Every component shipped with usage rules, so the in-house team could extend the system without us.

Outcome: one template, consistent across print and screen, adopted by the client's team within a month of handover.
